Ian Bremmer is a political scientist, author and leading expert on geopolitics and global political risk. He is the President and Founder of Eurasia Group, a global political risk research and consulting firm, and GZERO Media, which provides analysis and coverage of international affairs.
Bremmer is also the host of GZERO World with Ian Bremmer, a weekly global affairs program, and serves as the foreign affairs columnist and editor at large for TIME. He teaches at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs and is a Senior Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School's Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs.
His expertise covers geopolitical risk across Asia, Eurasia, Europe, the Middle East and North America, as well as global macroeconomic developments. He has written eleven books, including The End of the Free Market, Every Nation for Itself, and Us vs. Them: The Failure of Globalism.
Bremmer has increasingly focused on the intersection of geopolitics and technology, including artificial intelligence and its implications for governments, businesses and international institutions. He served as rapporteur of the United Nations High-Level Advisory Body on Artificial Intelligence.
